MY STORY
Marton Jakab is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with over three decades of experience across a diverse range of industries, including property, construction, automotive, building materials, aged care, retail, health and fitness, education and professional services. Throughout his career, he has been known for his strategic insights, creative solutions and ability to drive growth for businesses of all sizes.
His journey began at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in Budapest, Hungary, where he advanced through roles in account service and strategic planning. Since then, he has held senior positions such as General Manager and Group Account Director at various advertising and branding agencies, working closely with businesses to build strong brands, develop impactful campaigns and generate high-quality leads.
Marton has served as Marketing Director’s for some of the country’s leading property developers, including Meriton and Payce Properties. The last 10 years has been in the healthcare space. 8 years in healthcare design and fitout in senior marketing leadership roles, with the most recent head of marketing role in the dental education sector. His ability to blend strategic marketing with creative execution has made him a highly sought-after expert in the industry.
His academic background includes a degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Commerce with a major in Marketing, a diploma in Marketing Research and a real estate certificate. This strong educational foundation, combined with years of hands-on experience, enables him to deliver high-quality positioning and branding solutions for his clients.
As the Founder and Managing Director of MJ Marketing Group, Marton leads a Sydney-based marketing and creative business that serves as an extension to in-house marketing teams or as a standalone partner for businesses looking to enhance their marketing efforts. His company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including marketing planning and workshops, branding audits, graphic design, video, digital, social media and outsourced marketing management.
